I generally avoid photographs of this location – the Pont des Artes in Paris – because it’s been so often photographed and has become so iconic that what can I possibly add? But clichés interest me, so I decided to go all out on the clichés with this shot. Street musician? Check. Pont des Artes? Check. Bokeh? Check.

  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog overnight, David.

I thought I would let you know, I love photos out of focus. I love the softness and atmosphere they convey. Sometimes small Apertures (e.g. f16 or f22) and razor sharp focus look too intense to me. Having said that, I seem to be forever trying to get good focus (as I feel that’s what blog viewers want).

I should be more like you and post what I like.

Your ‘Twelve Glasses’ photo is another nice one.
